At first self-taught, in the early 2000 he attended the Cultural Activities Service of University of Montreal. From then on, he developed a profound interest in people photography, mainly in black and white. The apprenticeship of lab techniques leads him to refine his prints. Today, he captures people with digital tools and he excerpts from the files the "lab soul".
As well in studio as in open daylight, he aims at capturing that precise moment of intimacy, unveiling, abandonment, complicity.
He works on a consensual basis although not always staged. He is grateful to all those who accepted to act as subjects or models.
To the self-proclaimed non-photogenic, he answers with an exchange that usually leads to a test round; the subject is often amazed at its expression capabilities.
To him, photography is an opportunity to create a contact and bring down barriers.
He is a member of RAAV.
